My name is Valerie and I’m a full-time PhD student and weekend baker/blogger based in Auckland New Zealand.

Funnily enough I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but I love baking for others – it gives me an excuse to try out new recipes or perfect old ones. This blog is a way for me to keep track of and share my creations.
